Before I first heard the song, I was in a situation that I wanted to make last forever, and no matter how hard or painful it was, I wanted to stick with it and make it work. The song speaks about trying to hold on to something or someone so much that they can’t focus on anything else. And before I heard the song, I was in that situation.
